Southwind Welcomes New Chief Revenue Officer Jeffery Anderson
Southwind announced today the hiring of Jeffery Anderson, their new Chief Revenue Officer. Jeffery will be responsible for driving integration and alignment between all revenue-related functions across Southwind and will help drive explosive sales growth across multiple channels and brands.
Prior to Southwind, Jeffery was a Founder of Spring Venture Group (SVG). Leading as both Chief Operating Officer and Chief Sales Officer, Jeffery architected and led SVG's process-driven sales, new-hire onboarding, management development, and business process platform by leveraging data science and technology to drive over a decade of year-over-year revenue, earnings and headcount growth - delivering over $1B of insurance premiums and 1MM members to its insurance carrier partners, redefining the way traditional insurance is sold. He successfully led rapid revenue growth and adjacency expansion, capturing industry-leading market share post-private equity buyout investment in 2018, while operationalizing clear leadership succession planning.
Jeffery has co-founded, led go-to-market strategies and launched 7 businesses under the SVG umbrella, holding executive leadership roles in each of the businesses. “It's rare to be able to bring in someone as dynamic and thoughtful as Jeffery,” CEO Josh Herron said about the hire. “Tyler and I are excited for Jeffery to join Southwind to help us drive significantly stronger Revenue growth at Southwind. He will work with us to create a strategy that helps us cross-sell our brands in a more intentional way.” Bringing Jeffery on the team is more than just about the bottom line. With one of Southwind’s pillars being people development, Herron knows that the hire will be a key piece in continuing to build the dynamic culture at Southwind.
“Jeffery is a culture creator,” said Herron. “He leads through system creation that empowers and develops teammates' knowledge, skills, and attributes. Jeffery is a hands-on leader who will help us elevate our company in a meaningful way.”
