In 2007, Southwind started it’s first 1-800-GOT-JUNK? business in Kansas City, MO. Now led by two young entrepreneurs, Tyler Staszak & Josh Herron, with 50+ locations across the country. Both Tyler & Josh had worked for others as truck team members and saw the massive opportunity for exceptional home services businesses as well as the gap in jobs that offered real training and growth for people wanting to become owners themselves. Southwind now has over 1500+ team members across over 5 brands and 50 locations across the United States & Canada.
At Southwind, we believe that a clear vision and mission are essential to guide our actions, inspire our team, and drive our success. Our vision represents where we're going - the future we aim to create. Our mission outlines how we're going to get there - the principles and actions that will lead us to our vision. It’s our guiding light for success.
Southwind has locations all across the United States & Canada. As of May 2025, there are currently 63 total Southwind locations, a number that is always rising.
